Charlotte the Deserts Witch Plush Sewing Pattern Tutorial
This pattern will show you how to sew a Charlotte, inspired by the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime, measuring 4 inches wide, 2 inches long and 5.5 inches tall. This pattern features the witch’s puffy hood, long sleeves and candy-like silhouette.
Here is a list of stitches used:
-backstitch
-ladder stitch
-running stitch (for gathering ruffles)
-top stitch
-whip stitch
-fill stitch (if you want to embroider the eyes)
Recommended fabrics:
- 7 inches x 15 inches minky fabric in brown
- 11 inches x 9 inches minky fabric in light pink
- 12 inches x 5 inches minky fabric in coral or dark pink
- 3 inches x 3 inches minky fabric in white or cream
- 5 inches x 6 inches minky or suede fabric in grey
- 12 inches x 7 inches minky or suede fabric in dark red
- 12 inches x 10 inches cotton fabric in polka dot brown with pink spots or polka dot black with red spots
- 1 inch x 1 inch felt fabric in yellow
- 1 inch x 1 inch felt fabric in light blue
Recommended materials:
-poly-fil stuffing
-thread (white, brown or black, and the color of your fabric)
This is a 19 page tutorial with pictures to illustrate the steps. The pattern is full size and includes 18 pieces- no resizing needed before printing. Let me know if anything is unclear!

-1/4 inch seam allowance is already included
-the embroidery patch on the back of Charlotte's cape is not included- I've purchased mine from https://www.etsy.com/shop/NeitherSparky, with a 1.5 inch diameter
